My family and I cannot say enough incredible things about Dr. Miller. From the very beginning, it was clear that he is in a league of his own. His attention to detail, his well-deserved recognition and performance awards, and his phenomenal bedside manner truly set him apart. He is a breath of fresh air in the medical industry. He is smart, funny, humble, and genuinely compassionate. But beyond all of his accomplishments, what stands out most is how deeply he cares for his patients. At 79 years old, my mom had to undergo a major hernia surgery. She was absolutely terrified. Historically, she has always been afraid of doctors, but with Dr. Miller, that fear melted away. He didn’t rush her. He sat with her, listened to her concerns, acknowledged her fears, and took extra time to reassure her. He was patient, encouraging, and such a positive influence during one of the most stressful times of her life. Throughout her surgery and recovery, Dr. Miller was incredibly proactive. He managed her pain thoughtfully and appropriately, making sure she was comfortable while also being careful and responsible in her care. He regularly checked in on her and stayed closely involved every step of the way. What truly sets him apart is that his care didn’t stop at the operating room. When complications arose after she returned home, he remained in close communication with her ICU physicians to ensure she received the best possible care and outcomes. On more than one occasion, he went out of his way to advocate for her even in situations that extended beyond his immediate scope. That level of dedication is rare and speaks volumes about his character. Dr. Miller’s passion for medicine and for his patients shines through in every interaction. He is kind, attentive, compassionate, and extraordinarily thorough. We truly wish he could be her primary doctor because he embodies everything you would hope for in a physician and then some. If you are considering Dr. Miller as your surgeon, I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend him. We need more physicians like him in this world. He is simply exceptional.
